Adopt a School

The village of Munti Gunung is located north east of Bali; in the steep, dry slopes of Mount Batur in the district of Tianyar Barat. Today, the village is one of the poorest and most underdeveloped on the island, with a population of approximately 5,000 people and an average daily income of US 10 cents.

‘Adopt a School’ is Conrad Bali’s commitment to give Munti Gunung children a better chance of a future every child deserves. Through this program, Conrad Bali supports the construction of a satellite school with six classrooms in Munti Gunung. A library, a teachers’ office and a first aid room will follow and school supplies including books, teaching materials, desks and chairs will also be provided.

Conrad Bali guests are invited to participate in this program. Upon check-out, a donation of IDR 10,000 (approximately USD 1) will be added to the final account.
